If you need to check your eligibility for the Ehsaas Program, please follow these steps:

Full Process

Step 1: Send a Message to 8171
The first step is to send an SMS to 8171 from your mobile. After this, the system will receive your request, and the next process will begin.

Step 2: Check Correct CNIC Number
After sending the SMS, the system will connect with NADRA to get your CNIC details.

If you have entered the correct CNIC number, the system will verify it and continue the process.
If the applicant enters the wrong ID number, they will receive a message saying, “Your CNIC number is incorrect.”
Note: To avoid issues with wrong ID numbers, please type your CNIC without any dashes.

Step 3: Verification of Eligible CNIC
Next, the system will start verifying your details to check if you are eligible for the grant. If you are not eligible, the process will stop here, and you cannot apply for the emergency program.

Step 4: Checking Government Job Status
Now, the system will check if you or your spouse works in a government job. If you fail this test, you will not be able to get the assistance.

If you or your spouse works in any government department, such as Railways, Post Office, School Teacher, etc., then unfortunately, you are not eligible for this assistance.

Step 5: Final Confirmation and Confirmation SMS
In the final step, the system will confirm your eligibility for the grant, and you will receive a confirmation message from Ehsaas, saying:

About the Ehsaas Program
The Ehsaas Program was launched in 2019 by Pakistan’s former Prime Minister. After the change of government, the new government began distributing this funding.
